Why Should I Care?

Between 15 and 20 percent of urban trees in Utah are Ash Trees and in some communities as much as 40 percent are all susceptible to the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB). If we don’t take proactive approach to managing this infestation of EAB’s then we could be in danger of losing every single one of the Ash trees in Utah.

That is why we need your help to reduce the impact of the Emerald Ash Borer:

  • There is currently no way for nature to stop the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer, which is
  • Current treatments are about 90% effective in stopping the loss of Ash trees to EAB’s.
  • Early detection and knowledge is the key to helping reduce the impact of EAB’s on the Utah Landscape.

Are My Ash Trees Infected?
